My experience comes from working within automotive businesses rather than solely advising them from outside.

Over more than two decades in automotive retail, I have held senior commercial, operational, performance, brand and governance roles across multi-site franchised operations.

That experience includes responsibility for more than 350 colleagues and work across brands including Toyota, Lexus and Volvo.

I have led a Toyota dealer group recognised as Toyota BRiT Best Group for three consecutive years, with all six Toyota businesses achieving top-ten return-on-investment performance.

The result is a combination of strategic understanding and practical dealership experience.

I understand the numbers.

I also understand what has to happen within the business to produce them.
